Early Years

Our vision for Early Years Foundation Stage is to have an engaging, enhancing and aspiring curriculum that enables children to acquire the skills and knowledge for them to become confident and unique individuals.

We have developed an aspirational curriculum and environment that holds the child at the centre of all we do to enable them to become happy, healthy and active individuals. Through a variety of opportunities and play they will learn to transfer skills to a range of contexts which will allow them to be prepared for the next stage in their learning journey. It fosters a culture of inclusion which promotes progress for all children and helps to develop creative, faithful and happy individuals.

We know that children will feel happiest when engaged in activities that interest them. Throughout the year, we follow the children’s individual interests as vehicles to enhance their learning experiences. These will give the children opportunities to revisit, rehearse, consolidate and learn skills and knowledge alongside the valuable role of the adult.
