Helping your children to grow and thrive - workshops for parents and carers
It's frequently said that you don't get a handbook when you become a parent! All parents and carers find parenting a struggle from time to time and it is increasingly difficult for parents to keep up with all of the stresses and strains children experience in this age of technology. The reason for these sessions are to help and guide rather than to say that you are doing something wrong!
We are very pleased to invite ALL parents to attend inspirational and positively helpful workshops run by Lorraine Lee, in collaboration with Kings' School and all the Kings' Cluster Schools (Stanmore, Oliver's Battery, St Faith's, St Peter's, Compton All Saints, Colden Common and John Keble). We are jointly funding these workshops so that attendance is FREE!
Lorraine is a Professional Parenting Practitioner who has worked with parents in Hampshire for over 14 years. Feedback from her courses is always positive and sessions led by her on the recent Cluster INSET day were booked up very quickly by school staff! You can read the flyer by clicking this link.
As soon as we are made aware of this year's workshops, we will be sure to pass the information on to you. Meanwhile, pleas do take a look at last years offering.
The workshops last year took place in the Main Hall at Kings' School, 7.00 - 9.00pm. They were booked via Eventbrite.
08/06/17 - Helping children with worry and anxiety
