The John Keble School Curriculum

At John Keble we believe in a curriculum that prepares children for their future. In addition to the requirements of the National Curriculum, we have included additional content and skills that we believe are important for our children. Our 'Attitudes to Learning' drive the way in which we deliver our school curriculum; Aspiration, Curiosity, Creativity, Adaptability and Empathy. We take great pride in trying to develop the whole child - hopefully fostering a love of learning that will last a life time. We constantly review the content of our curriculum (with pupils given the opportunity to drive some of the topics we explore) and greatly value the humanities and creative subjects, as well as the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. Our curriculum embraces the world around us and aims to enable children to achieve their full potential in a creative and enjoyable way. All this is underpinned by our Christian ethos summarised by our four values of: Love, Forgiveness, Trust and Hope.
